Soul Sail Retreat

June 27-29, 2025

Step away from the rush and into a weekend of renewal at our Soul Sail Retreat. A thoughtfully curated experience designed to nourish your body, calm your mind, and awaken your spirit.

Weekend Details

Friday - June 27th

You’ll have a moment to arrive and get settled. Once everyone has gathered, you’ll receive a custom journal and have an opportunity to sit quietly and form an intention for the weekend.

From there, the evening will ease into a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere, starting with appetizers. As the sun begins to set, the group will divide: one set of participants will head out with Captain Morgan for a sunset sail, enjoying dinner on the water featuring locally sourced ingredients prepared by a local chef. Meanwhile, the second group will stay by the pool to watch the sun set over the water, while enjoying a chef-prepared dinner at home, also made with local ingredients.

Saturday - June 28th

The day will begin with breakfast enjoyed at home. Each space will be thoughtfully stocked with wholesome options, allowing you to start the morning in a way that feels natural. You might sip a cup of coffee or tea on the porch, enjoy a mindful meal, or enjoy conversation with others in the house. Breakfast is more than a pause; it is an invitation to ease into the day with intention and care.

After breakfast, the group who enjoyed dinner at home the previous evening will be the first to make their way to the studio. Their morning will begin with a grounding meditation, a revitalizing Pilates session, and a relaxing sound bath. After this lovely start, they’ll have time to reset, gather what they need, and head out for a daytime sail, where a thoughtfully prepared lunch will be waiting.

Later in the morning, the group who set sail the night before will arrive at the studio for their own session of meditation, Pilates, and sound bath. Once they've moved through their practice, they’ll return poolside to enjoy a beautifully prepared lunch and ease into the rest of the day at a more relaxed pace.

In the afternoon, both groups will come together with the freedom to choose how they’d like to spend their time. Whether it’s unwinding by the pool, heading out for a peaceful kayak, curling up with a good book or journal, or simply enjoying unstructured time in community, this part of the day is all about rest, connection, and honoring what feels most nourishing in the moment.

As the day winds down, everyone will come together for a shared dinner at a local restaurant. With a customized menu created just for our group, this meal is a chance to savor delicious food, connect in conversation, and celebrate the day’s experiences, all while supporting the local community.

After dinner, those who wish can continue the evening at a local hangout spot. This will be an opportunity to further immerse in the spirit of the community. Participants can enjoy light snacks, drinks, casual conversation, and music in a laid-back setting that invites connection and ease.

Sunday - June 28th

The retreat’s closing day will begin with a calm and nourishing breakfast at home. This final breakfast offers a gentle start, inviting reflection and presence before the day unfolds.

Following breakfast, you’ll gather with the group for a closing meditation—an opportunity to settle inward and ground yourself in stillness. Afterward, you'll have time to sit quietly, reflect, and journal on your intention, allowing space for integration before the day continues.

In the time that follows, you’re invited to linger. You might enjoy a few peaceful moments by the pool, take in the view from the water, or share conversation with others. It’s a soft space to connect, savor, and simply be before the journey home begins.

Where You’ll Stay

The Main House

Anchored on the water’s edge, this spacious home in the town of Weems offers a blend of comfort and connection. With multiple sleeping arrangements, it’s ideal for those who enjoy the presence of others or their own private space. At its heart is an open kitchen and living area, where conversations flow over morning tea or quiet evening reflections. Step outside to a private pool that catches the afternoon light, kayaks resting by the dock, and calm waters that invite you in.

The Cottage

Nestled among trees and walking trails, the cottage offers a more intimate option in the town of Irvington. Each of its three bedrooms has a private en suite, creating space for rest and solitude. The first floor opens into a warm, light-filled living area with a kitchen and screened-in porch that feels made for slow mornings and golden-hour chats. Outside, you’ll find access to a quiet community pool, forested paths to wander, and a peaceful dock where kayaks offer a doorway to the water.

*Both locations are close to each and close to all of our activities

A trailblazer in the male-dominated maritime industry, she mentors aspiring female mariners, inspiring the next generation of women to pursue their passion for the sea.  For the past six years, Captain Morgan has lived aboard sailboats, and she now resides on her dream vessel, a Formosa 41 named Blossom. With extensive experience commanding vessels across the Chesapeake Bay and beyond, she is known for her strategic expertise, commitment to safety, and dedication to marine conservation.  Following the loss of her father to pancreatic cancer in 2020, Captain Morgan shifted from her career as a certified personal trainer, realizing how short and precious life is.
