Soul Sail Retreat

If your body’s been asking for a reset and your mind’s been longing for space, this is your sign to join us for our Soul Sail Retreat.  At Niche Pilates Studio, we believe in the power of movement to reconnect, recharge, and reawaken the soul. That’s exactly what our Soul Sail Retreat is all about, a thoughtfully curated weekend designed to nourish the body, calm the mind, and offer space to simply be.

Set in the peaceful towns of Weems and Irvington, Virginia, this retreat is more than a getaway, it’s a return to self. Through intentional movement, sailing on the Rappahannock, shared meals, and unstructured time to rest, we’ve created an experience that invites you to slow down, sink in, and feel fully present.

The Soul Sail Flow

Friday: Arrival + Intention

The weekend begins with a soft landing. After arriving and settling into your space, you’ll receive a custom journal and take a few quiet moments to set your intention for the weekend.

The evening eases into a gentle pace with appetizers, followed by your choice of sunset sail or dinner by the pool. Half the group will set sail with Captain Morgan, enjoying dinner on the water featuring local, seasonal ingredients. The other half will stay poolside for a relaxed, chef-prepared dinner at home, soaking in the golden hour glow. (Don’t worry everyone gets a turn on the water.)

Saturday: Movement, Sailing, Sound, and Space

Mornings begin slow and nourishing, with a light breakfast enjoyed at your own pace.

The day unfolds in two groups. One group begins with meditation, Reformer-based Pilates, and a restorative sound bath, followed by a midday sailing excursion and lunch on the water. The other group flips the flow, starting with the sail and ending with their studio session.

The afternoon opens into unstructured space whether you’re drawn to kayaking, journaling, lounging by the pool, or simply being in good company. This is your time to rest, reflect, and just exist.

That evening, we’ll gather together for a shared dinner at 77 Social, a charming local restaurant offering a custom menu created just for our group. The connection doesn’t end there; those who feel called can continue the evening at Camp, a casual, welcoming local spot for drinks, music, and late-night conversation.

Sunday: Integration + Return

Our final morning begins with a calm, nourishing breakfast and a closing group meditation for a time to reflect, settle, and integrate your experience. There’s no rush. After meditation, you’re welcome to linger, connect, and take in the last peaceful moments before heading home.
